I consider myself a “Spare time amateur photographer”. I’m not a professional by any means. Partnered with my girlfriend, Sue, we plan our vacations, as well as most weekends, around photography. 

My cameras are “point and shoot”, with the emphasize on optical zoom. The older camera, which I still use for HDR and long exposure, is a Fuji SL1000, which has a 50x optical zoom. I then bought a Nikon P900, which boasted an 83x optical zoom. As soon as the P1000 came out, I traded the P900 for one. Along with the 125x zoom, the P1000 also shoots in 4K video and other improvements over the P900.
